Xiaomi MIUI 12.5: Das halbe Update stellt sich offiziell vor!

Während in China das Xiaomi Mi 11 bereits offiziell vorgestellt wurde, müssen wir uns hierzulande noch bis zum 8. Februar gedulden. Von vielen unter Umständen in Vergessenheit geraten, dass auch eine neue Benutzeroberfläche mit dem neuen Modell erscheint. Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 ist aufgrund des früheren Release zwar nur eine „halbe“ neue Version, dennoch bietet es einige interessante neue Funktionen. Xiaomi gibt nun via Twitter offiziell bekannt, dass der 8. Februar auch der Vorstellung des hauseigenen User Interfaces dient.

Kommenden Montag den 8. Februar wird uns Xiaomi offiziell um 13 Uhr deutscher Zeit das Mi 11 international vorstellen. Was man uns aber bei der Ankündigung nicht verraten hat, ist die Präsentation von Xiaomi MIUI 12.5. Wenngleich das vermutlich jedem klar war, möchte das Unternehmen das aber noch einmal explizit hervorheben. Die Beta-Version wurde ja bereits schon heiß diskutiert und auch welche Smartphones wann mit einem solchen Update rechnen können. Montag wird es wohl neben den neuen Funktionen auch etwas über den Beginn des globalen Rollout und der Beta-Version geben. Das Xiaomi Mi 11 wird natürlich bereits mit MIUI 12.5 ausgeliefert.

Xiaomi Mi 11 schon jetzt deutlich günstiger kaufen!

Da wir am Montag jedoch nur einen deutlich teureren Global-Preis für das Mi 11 hören werden – mein Tipp ist ein Startgebot von 799 Euro – wäre meine Empfehlung der Kauf bei unseren langjährigen Partner TradingShenzhen. Dort ist das Mi 11 bereits ab 577 Euro erhältlich. Sorgen braucht man sich keine zu machen, da es diesmal mit LTE-Band 20 kommt. Auch der Widevine Level 1 und Google Pay ist mit an Bord und funktioniert (SafetyNet Test). Ein EU-ROM mit deutscher Sprache und Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 gibt es bereits auch schon. Allerdings nur als Fastboot-Version, weswegen die Kollegen diese noch nicht vorinstallieren, sondern auf die TWRP-Version (Team Win Recovery Project) warten, welche dann auch automatisch Updates ohne eine Verbindung zum PC einspielt.
